Little things- easy to do, just as easy not to do. Want health? Identify the little things.

I’ve read the The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy a few times. Want success? Want health? Make good choices all the time. It will compound and snowball into great success.

Break it down. The mantra,”little things are easy to do, but just as easy not to do” can make you aware of all the little things in your life that can lead you to success.  That meta-cognitive awareness can tip the balance for better decisions.  Start with little things.

If you are here reading this blog you are interested in back health; I’m not sure if you are into personal development, it has been something I’ve picked up since my daughter was born, especially reading success stories, and the repetition of the billionaires and leaders all say it’s all in your habits and routines. 

A confused mind always says no.  If you have to put emotional labor, a somewhat finite resource, into making choices you may not be able to make all the best choices before you get exhausted or worse, lazy.  Do you have to think about putting your seatbelt on? No?  Why? Because it’s a habit.  How did you create the habit?  Was it the law?  Was it the new car that has a weight sensor and an alarm?  Whatever it was that helped you make that decision a few times formed a simple habit that takes little thought and no emotional labor.  It just happens, and you are more likely to be healthy because of the habit.
